#62 - being human

I asked her, "Could we kiss for a little bit?"
"Excuse me," she said, although, on the other hand, she didn't pull her head back...
I told her, "Humans are the only animal that blushes, laughs, has religion, wages war, and kisses with lips. So in a way, the more you kiss with lips, the more human you are."
"And the more you wage war?"

we are the only animals who have to label our fights, as war. its all got to be very systematic and organised and like, expected. i mean we have RULES for war.
struggles, are natural. but the deliberate and intent nature of organised combat, is not.

wow i feel like paulie with all the internal debating right now.

IS SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST, TOO GENERAL? NATURAL SELECTION JUST SEEMS TOO IDEAL. evolution suddenly seems like such an excuse, a coping mechanism.

why does it seem like we are always tilting at windmill? is there any point in trying to change the world?wowow, i just realised how bbagj im sounding.

and ps why do we, as humans, have to define everything?
i don't think there is a point :(
and we have to define everything because if we do, we'll know what we're not so we'll know what we are.

partial allusion to mark twain ftw.
"Man is the only animal that blushes... or needs to." - Mark Twain
