#66 - film

What movies or scenes from movies get you really emotional, or dare I say make you cry?
If you spoil the end of a movie, please give a warning.

I was just watching Everything Is Illuminated and yeah it's different from the book and stuff, but the end always gets me! It's just very emotional. There's definitely more, but that's the one that made me think to ask. So..?

true true. i don't really cry either. but awww big fish!
i cried after joan of arc was burned at the stake (no spoiler, it's all history) in that made-for-tv movie with lee lee sobieski (and still would)

P.S. Matt cried at the end of An Inconvenient Truth
i remember watching that (i think) when i was younger and it made me pretty sad.

and i still really need to see that. everyone's been talking about it lately.
oh god, i definitely forgot American History X.
OMG! WORST MURDER OF THE MOVIES EVER.
was forrest gump kinda sad/emotional? i feel like i might have cried. hmmmmmmmmmmm

i saw a silent film of joan of arc on tv, that was kinda scarj. twas in blaq an dwyte.
define 'worst?'
and i guess some parts of gump were. but i really liked it a lot after i understood all the history.
ew do we have to get into themantix? ugggggh. worst as in brutal? i mean honestly its really cruel donchu fink?
vietnam vets love forest gump. cept for the running part. no running in the jungle. too manj traps.
oh, no. i was just wondering if you meant worst as in 'the portrayal of violence is the most brutal of all the murder movies' or as in 'it was poorly executed and tastefully done and i pretty much would never watch it again' type thing. and yeah, it's really cruel. i mean, the 'bite the curb' scene and the look in edward norton's eyes...oh my god that pretty much never left me.

LIEUTENANT DAN rules
yeah bitethecurb. tha was the worst. and the look. srslj haunting.

he does! BUBBA GUMP SHRIMP FO LYPHE.
